What could a concert hall play as in Stockholm? With the popularity and richness of Swedish music, the Stockholm Concert Hall Project is designed based on the idea of providing a whole urban linkage between context and people. The overall massing is strongly related to its geography to bring people close to open space even when they are in the building.
The concert hall is also designed with unconventional structure system which having trusses hang every floor plate with facade attached. To make the space and massing look lighter and fluid, the columns are replaced by steel cables, which also expresses the language of modern-industrial.
